The Bay City Rollers played to to an audience of about 1,500 people, comprised primarily of frenzied, screaming teenage females. It was akin to one of the early Beatle concerts except that the Beatles had more talent. While the audience was relatively small when compared to most of the concerts I photographed it ranks as one of the most unruly I have ever experienced. It is the only concert I can remember where the screams of the audience outpowered the sound system. For whatever reason the Bay City Rollers manager told me to stop taking pictures about 20 minutes into the concert. I continued for another 10 minutes or so until he came up to me again and demanded I stop which I did. These photographs were taken, developed but never published until now.
