Every rock photographer needs at least a few shots of someone arriving or getting out of a plane and these are mine. It was a cold day at the Calgary International Airport on Oct 5, 1977 when Rod Stewart arrived to promote his Foot Loose & Fancy Free record as you can see by the coat he is wearing. The most amusing part of this concert came when he kicked a number of soccer balls from the stage out to the audience. (See Rod 05) Rod Stewart is a great live performer whose career has lasted many decades to this day.
